Your resume is never written to disk.

No account, and your resume is never saved to a database. It goes to our AI — as text, or as the file itself if it has no selectable text or uses columns — only to build your report, and isn’t used to train models. Your last few reports are saved on this device for up to 7 days, so you can come back to them without using another analysis. See exactly what we keep.

What you get

See your resume the way recruiters do

The feedback career centers are too polite to give — specific, honest, and built around the roles you're actually applying to.

A recruiter-grade score

One to ten, graded the way a campus recruiter grades a stack the night before career fair. A solid student resume is a six — nothing is inflated to make you feel ready when you're not.

An ATS readability check

Workday, Greenhouse, and iCIMS read your resume before a human does. We check your file for the things they trip on — headings, dates, columns, text stuck in images — and tell you what to fix.

Six category sub-scores

Impact, clarity, structure, relevance, keywords, and credibility — each scored and explained, so you know whether it's your bullet points or your formatting holding the offer back.

Rewrites, not platitudes

Not "add metrics." Instead: your line — "Helped with events" — rewritten to "Coordinated [X] campus events for [X]+ attendees," with the question that fills in the blanks: "How many people attended your biggest event?" We never invent your numbers. Ranked so you know what to fix first.

How it works

Three steps, about two minutes

  1. 01

    Drop your resume in

PDF, Word, or plain text — the one-pager you're about to submit on Handshake or LinkedIn. We rebuild the layout line by line so your formatting survives the read.

  2. 02

    It gets read properly

Scored on impact, clarity, structure, relevance, keywords, and credibility — then checked the way an applicant tracking system parses it before a recruiter ever sees it.

  3. 03

    You get a punch list

Strengths worth keeping, weaknesses worth fixing, and rewritten bullet points, with a question for any number only you know. Ranked by what actually moves you from screened-out to interview.

Sample report

No testimonials. Just the output.

An illustrative report for a sample finance resume — the same three things you’ll see on yours.

What’s capping the score

Bullets describe duties, not outcomes

Six of nine bullets start with a responsibility verb and end without a number.

Two date formats in one document

“June 2024” and “06/2024” both appear. Some parsers drop the second.

Skills section buried on page two

Keyword matching weights the first half of the document more heavily.

Rewrite, ranked #1 by impact

Before

Responsible for assisting the investment team with research and building financial models.

After

Built three-statement models for [X] mid-cap targets, cutting the team’s screening time by roughly [X]%.

To fill in: “Roughly how many companies did you model?”

Applying this one moves Impact & metrics from 6.4 to an estimated 8.0.

FAQ

Questions, answered straight

Is this actually built for students, or just a generic resume checker?

Built for students. The scoring is calibrated to internship and entry-level standards — the bar a campus recruiter uses, not a 10-year senior manager. It knows a strong first bullet for a junior looks different from one for a VP.

Is my resume stored anywhere?

Not by us — it's never written to disk or saved to a database. Your file is read in memory and released once your report is done. Your finished report is saved in your own browser — your last 3 reports, for up to 7 days — so you can come back to it without using another analysis, and "Delete saved reports" clears them. A copy also sits in our server's memory for up to an hour, so re-running the exact same resume gives the same report without using up a free analysis. Anthropic, which runs the AI, deletes what we send it within 30 days. The only things kept in a database are a pair of counters for the daily limit, which delete themselves after 24 hours, a few daily totals (how many analyses ran, for which career track, how many included a job posting, were repeats, hit the limit, or failed — just the numbers), and anonymous visit statistics, which use no cookies and contain nothing from your resume. The privacy page spells all of this out.

What does ATS Readability measure?

Machine readability, not writing quality — section headings, reading order, real text instead of images, conventional dates, and whether key details are stranded in headers, footers, or tables. The exact things Workday and Greenhouse choke on. A beautifully written resume can still score badly here. It isn't a match score for a specific job. For that, paste the job posting when you upload.

Will it work with a scanned resume or a Canva template?

Yes. Text-based PDFs and Word docs are read as text. A scan, a photo, or a Canva export with no selectable text is sent to the AI as the file itself, so it still gets a full review — but your report will flag that most applicant tracking systems see that kind of file as blank, and tell you how to re-export it with real text. A PDF with a two-column layout is sent as the file too, so it's read the way a person reads it; your report will note that some applicant tracking systems read columns out of order.

Is the score harsh?

Deliberately. A merely competent student resume lands around a six. Inflating scores to be encouraging is how people keep submitting the same resume that keeps getting screened out.

Do I need to pay or sign up?

Neither. The full analysis is free — upload, read your results, make the edits, run it again. No card, no account, and nothing held back behind a paid tier. The one limit is fair use: 2 analyses a day per browser and 10 a day per network (one Wi-Fi or mobile connection, shared by everyone on it), so edit in batches rather than re-running after every line.
